Top 10 Fastest Cars of The World 2014

There are several cars in the world with fast speed. But not all able to set records. According to Guinness Record book, The list of Top 10 Fastest cars of the world are:

1. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is at top in the list of Top 10 Fastest cars of the world. Bugatti Veyron Super sport has quad-turbocharged W16, V8 Engine that generate around 1200 horsepower. The Car has the capacity to accelerate from 0-60 mph only in 2.4 seconds. Car achieved top speed of 267 miles per hour and hence come at number one position in the list.

2. Hennessey Venom GT
Fastest car that comes second is the Hennessey Venom GT with top speed of 260 mph. Recently, Venom GT broke the record of Bugatti Veyron Super Sports and reached at the top speed of 270.49 mph but it was not considered as a record because record books accepts a two way run for car to establish the top speed while Venom GT just did one way. So NASA did not consider this record and place the Hennessey Venom GT still at number two position in the list of World's most fastest cars.

3. Koenigsegg Agera R
Koenigsegg Agera R comes at the number three position in the list of fastest cars of the world having top speed of 262 mph. The car has Twin Turbo V8 engine that generate 1030 horsepower .  Agera R broke the record of Bugatti Veyron Super sports by accelerating from 0 to 186.4 mph and then come back to zero in only 21.19 while Bugatti done this in 25.3 seconds. But as speed concerned, Koenigsegg Agera R comes third in the list.

4. SSC ultimate Aero And 9ff G T9-R:
SSC Ultimate Aero and 9ff G T9-R both comes at number four position as per speed concern as top speed of both car is 267 mph. But SSC ultimate Aero with 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds give it priority over 9ff G T9-R.

SSC Ultimate Aero is an American Automobile production car having 257 mph top speed. SSC Ultimate Aero was holding the Title of "Fastest Car In the World" from 2007 to 2010 till Bugatti broke the record and reached at the speed of 267 mph. It is having V8 supercharged engine with the capacity to generate 1183 horsepower.

SSC Ultimate Aero 4th fastest car in the world


9ff G T9-R is also having top speed of 257 mph and comes at number 4 position with SSC ultimate Aero. The car has V8 engine which can generate 1120 horsepower and can go from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds.

9ff GT9-R 4th Fastest Car in the World


5. Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4
Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 has Quad-Turbo Charged Engine which can generate 987 horsepower. Top speed of Veyron EB 16.4 is 254 mph. Veyron EB 16.4 was the Fastest car in the world in 2005.

6. Koenigsegg CCR:
Koenigsegg CCR has top speed of 250.7 mph and can go from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds. There is complexity in the list regarding Koenigsegg CCR and Koenigsegg CCX, as both cars are made similar. But according to the Koenigsegg website, CCR reported top speed of 250.7 mph.That's why CCR comes in the list. It has Twin supercharged V-8 engine which can generate 795 horsepower.

7. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo:
Top speed of Saleen S7 Twin Turbo is 248 mph and it can go from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. This car has mid-Engine Layout that made it unique from other cars. It has Twin Turbo Charged, V8 7000cc engine and generate 750 horsepower.

It can go from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. This is the only oldest car that still remain in the list of Fastest cars in the world.

9. Zenvo ST1:
Reported top speed of Zenvo ST1 is 233 mph. It has Turbo-charged and super-charged engine which can generate amazing amount of power reported around 1250 horsepower . It can go 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds.

Zenvo ST1 9th fastest car of the world

10. Pagani Huayra:
Pagani Huayra comes at the end in the list as reported 230 mph top speed. It has Mercedes-AMG M158 V12 Twin-Turbo Engine which can generate 720 horsepower.
